New Speakers announced for Episodic — Zombies, Run!

Adrian Hon and Rebecca Levene from the awesome Zombies, Run! episodic game/running app will be talking at Episodic on October 20th

We launched Episodic, our new conference about episodic series across all platforms, just a few weeks ago, and the Early Bird tickets have already sold out! We’ve had fantastic feedback from you all on Twitter and email, so it really feels like Episodic is a timely and useful event. When we were developing Episodic, we wanted to really stretch the definition of episodic content in as many directions as we could. One of the first projects we had on our wish list was the excellent Zombies, Run! an ultra-immersive running game and audio adventure for iPhone and Android, created by Six to Start and award-winning novelist Naomi Alderman. The game has almost 3 million players worldwide, with over 200 missions across 5 seasons of episodic content.

Zombies, Run! is a fantastic example of how episodic serial formats can work across platforms and genres, and we’re really pleased to have co-creator Adrian Hon and writer Rebecca Levene at Episodic to tell us their story.
